Replenishment at Sea No2 1966

HMCS Provider AOR 508 fuelling HMCS Columbia DDE 260, North Sea 1966. The open " Jungle Deck " was constantly awash in even moderate seas. At one Atlantic crossing the upper deck was closed with no access from the after part ship to the bridge structure for two days due to huge seas from tropical depression. Replacement vessels have higher freeboard and enclosed "Jungje Deck".
