Comments:
'Foxtrot-nine-nine' was renowned for the 'Irani' Gulf Debacle when some of her crew was 'kidnapped' by Iranian Forces. They didn't want to fight back because they might start a diplomatic war, how British is that?. She was also launched by the late HRH Diana Princess of Wales. The last RN Frigate to show the F99 Pennant was the 1959 'Type 61' Salisbury Class HMS Lincoln
