i think this ship was burnt out, in docks at vickers armstrong barrow-in- furness;the year being 1944 or 1945, she was being refitted, from being a troop carrier, after ww2

i stand corrected, it was the empress of russia, that burnt out at barrow.

i saw the empress of russia burning in barrow docks what a site i was eight at the time it burned for days and ended up with 45 list my farther was a plumber on there he probably set it on fire with his blow lamp ha ha mr l hodgson
