AURORA

One of the most famous warships in history, the 1900 built, 6630gt. cruiser AURORA of the Imperial Russian Navy. She is berthed at Galernii Island in St.Petersburg and is one of the few surviving cruisers of the pre-dreadnought era. Best known for her part in the 1917 Communist Revolution. Photo April 2003.
