Kowloon built Tanker Robert M.

Photo of the tanker Robert M. (IMO 6929868) seen off Portishead in 1993.
The tanker Robert M was built as British registered Cree in 1970 by HK Whampoa, Kowloon. She measure loa of 85m, beam 12.8m and 1,785 tons. The Cree was renamed in 1976 to Robert M., in 1997 to Nesa 1 and later that year to Nesa R.
I find this tanker to be of a remarkable design with even the bridge being very low. Any experts out there who can enlighten me?

With thanks and © P.W. Hobday.

She used to visit Ardrossan on the firth of Clyde regularly when I was a boy in the early 80's. I think she was a molases tanker at the time - messy job !
