Dumbarton built Cargo ship Island of MarmaraPhoto of the cargo vessel Island of Marmara (IMO 5074070) berthed in Avonmouth, 1979.
The Island Marmara was built as the British registered City of St. Albans in 1960 by Denny, Dumbarton (UK). She measured loa 132.2m, beam 18.1m and 6980 tons. The cargo ship City of St. Albans changed name to Island of Marmara in 1979. She was finally scrapped in 1983 at Jamnagar, India.
