Caledonian MacBrayne's Isle of Mull Ferry

'Isle of Mull' (home port Glasgow) passing Duart Castle on the north east coast of Mull on its way to Oban.

Duart Castle ("Black Point"in Gaelic) is the home of Sir Lachlan McAllen Bt. 28th Chief of the Clan Maclean, and dominates the Sound of Mull. The first castle was built here in the 13th century for the MacDougalls. The MacLean's took posession of the castle in the late 14th century, and added the tower house.
