Not the best of photos, but one of a few Sealink ferries I have photos of. Not sure which one or what port this is. Somebody might be able to identify her by her weird bow angle?
Hi. I believe that this ship could be the Horsa. I shall check an old photo of its sister ship named the Hengist to see if i am correct. I have more info if it turns out to be true.
Hi again, This is the Horsa and it came into service from Folkestone in 1972 with its sister ship the Hengist to serve Folkestone to Boulogne in France up until 31st/12/91. That was when the port of Folkestone closed. Both ships used to take the Orient Express on their onward travel. I am an ex crew member, and have more info if needed. Both ships were sold in 1992 and it left Folkestone feeling cold. There is no seaward crossing to France from Folkestone at this time of date and it is very much missed.
