HMS Brinton closes in on HMS Nubian
During a naval exercise held in the Persian Gulf during November 1969, minehunter HMS Brinton (jocularly known as the "Banana Boat" because of her affiliation with Fyffes) comes very close to the parent ship, Tribal Class frigate HMS Nubian.
There is a photograph by Derek Fox on the Internet showing her sadly lying at the Pounds Scrapyard, Portsmouth on July 11th 2000, awaiting scrapping.
