MV Equador

Photographed in Bahrain in June 1969, the cargo ship Equador was built and launched in 1955 as the Ecuador, the name being changed in 1968 to Equador. DWT 8,900, GRT 5,325. 138.8 m long, and with a beam of 17.9 m, she was built at Elsinor by Helsingor Vaerft as Yard no. 319.
Renamed Tarrens in 1970, Notis in 1976, Bhoja Trader in 1981, Ashar in 1982.
Broken up at Gadani Beach on 25 August 1984.
