Cunard's QE2 1982 in Malaga Spain

After the Falklands war the hull was repainted light charcoal grey and the funnel in Cunard's traditional red and black, (in place of her previous non-traditional white).

This photo was taken on Tuesday October 12, 1982. It was Columbus Day and most of the shops were closed.

That was her post-Falklands colour scheme which only lasted a year before the hull reverted to its dark blue. The Cunard funnel was retained.
