Maui tourist attraction 'Carthaginian II'
Tourist attraction "Carthaginian II", run by the Lahaina Restoration Foundation, at Lahaina, Maui Island, Hawaii, in June 2002. She was originally a cement carrier built in 1920 in Germany & was acquired by the Foundation in 1973. She then underwent a 7-year restoration, being remodeled to represent an old whaling vessel. She eventually became too costly to maintain and in 2005 was bought by Atlantis Adventures & sunk as an artificial reef (for divers & tour submarines) in 29 metres off Puamana to the south of Lahaina.
