'Chinkoa's' Radio Room

This photo of the Radio Room of British India S.N. Co's cargo ship "Chinkoa" shows two things of the past: the Radio Room itself & the Radio Officer, neither of which are found on modern cargo ships! Both the equipment & the R/O himself were supplied by the Marconi Marine Co. See picture #23214 for ship's details. Photo taken in 1970.
