British cargo ship 'Chinkoa' on 1952

London-registered general cargo ship "Chinkoa" (7,102 tons gross, completed December 1952 by Barclay, Curle & Co. Ltd., Whiteinch, Glasgow), owned by British India Steam Nav. Co., at Nagoya's Inae Pier in April 1970. She was the 13th & last of B.I's C-class. In April 1972 she sustained serious damage to her bridge structure at Antwerp & was sold for scrap at Bilbao, Spain, the following month.
