Finnish ferry 'Ilmatar' of 1964
Finnish passenger ship "Ilmatar" (7,155 tons gross, capacity 1,200 passengers & 80 cars, built 1964 by Wärtsilä Kon. Sandvikens Skepps., Helsinki), owned by Finska Angfartgs A/B (Finland Steamship Co.) at Stockholm in May 1969. She was converted for cruising in 1979 & in 1980 she was sold to D/S Vesteraalens A/S of Norway without a change of name but re-registered in Norway. In 1984 she was sold to Grundstad Maritime Overseas & renamed "Viking Princess" (operators: Crown Cruise Line) under the Panamanian flag & was laid up in 1995. In 1997 she was sold to Palm Beach Casino Line & renamed "Palm Beach Princess". She ended up under the Bolivian flag & was scrapped in 2011.
