Malaysian frigate 'Hang Tuah' of 1944
Royal Malaysian Navy's frigate "Hang Tuah" (F433, c. 2,400 tons full load displacement, built by Henry Robb, Leith) in the Kelang River off Port Swettenham (now Port Klang) in July 1968. She was completed in October 1944 as the Loch-class frigate "Loch Insh" (K433, later F433) for the Royal Navy & purchased by the R.M.N. in 1963. After an extensive refit at Portsmouth she was commissioned as K.D. "Hang Tuah" on 2nd October 1964 & served as the R.I.M's flagship until 1971 when she became a training ship. She was withdrawn from service & scrapped in 1977.
