Liberian cargo ship 'Trikora Djaya' of 1961

Monrovia-registered cargo ship "Trikora Djaya" (6,744 tons gross, built by Harland & Wolff Ltd., Govan), owned by Indo-Pacific Corp. (managers: John Manners & Co., Hong Kong) & chartered to P. T. Trikora Lloyd, Jakarta, at Singapore in June 1972. She was built in 1961 as "Bamora" for British India S.N. Co. of London & bought by Indo-Pacific in 1971, being initially renamed "Sumatra Breeze" before being renamed "Trikora Djaya" later the same year following the charter. She was sold in 1973 to South East Asia Shipping Pte. Ltd., Bombay, & renamed "Mahabhakti"; resold in 1980 to to Lyttelton Shipping Corp., Panama, & renamed "Dina"; and resold again to her final owners China Yangtze Shipping Co. in 1982 & renamed "Yang Zi Jiang No.3". She was reported to be still in existence in 1993 but presumably has been scrapped since.
