Singaporean cargo ship 'Kota Makmur' of 1948

Singaporean cargo ship "Kota Makmur" (9,827 tons gross, built 1948 by Rotterdamsche Droogdok & owned by Pacific International Lines of Singapore) at Penang, Malaysia, February 1971. She was built as "Slamat" for Koninklijke Rotterdamsche Lloyd & bought by P.I.L in 1969. She was sold to Karachi shipbreakers in 1973.

My father served on this ship. According to Rotterdam Lloyd shipping list it was sold to Singapore in 1969. My father was on it from Indonesia in 1951.

Hi. I finally found this ship, it was my first ship when I finish my school and join Singapore Training ship and after the course, I sail as a cadet in 1974, until I join the Singapore Army, National Service, it was fun, as a 16 years old.
