British cargo ship 'Strathtay' of 1962

P&O; General Cargo Division's "Strathtay" (10,028 tons gross, built 1962 by John Readhead & Sons, South Shields) at anchor off Kuwait in March 1976. She was built at "Trebartha" for Hain Steamship Co, which later merged with fellow P&O; subsidiary James Nourse to form Hain-Nourse Ltd.; came under the management & later direct ownership of P&O; in 1972; renamed "Strathtay" 1975; sold 1978 to Marikog Shipping Co. S.A., Panama, & renamed "Zak"; broken up at Lianyungang, China, in 1985
