CHUSAN waitsP&O liner at Southampton in May 1973 laid up pending sale.
The second of P&O's post war rebuilding programme she was built by Vickers at Barrow in 1950 and named I think after an island of the Chinese East Coast.
The breakers took her as was expected and sailing for Kaohsiung arrived there on July 1st to be scrapped by the Chou Iron & Steel Co.
