CITY OF EXETER of 1953Ellerman passenger/ cargo liner on the Tyne at Newcastle in June 1967. She was built locally by Vickers Armstrong at Walker.
Ellerman ran her till 1971 when she was sold to Greek ferry operators, renamed MEDITERRANEAN SEA and received a conversion to a ro-ro ferry becoming unrecognisable in her new form. As ALICE she was scrapped at Aliaga in 1998.
