White funnel days- taken on a Channel Crossing when this was a possibility then returning by Sealink in June 1979.

The rare white funnel was also still there when she raced down to the Falkland Islands with troops in 1982 - 16, 000nm in under a month at nearing 30knots most of the way.

The funnel received Cunard red on her post-Falklands refit when she also got the very impractical grey hull.
