Greek registered general cargo ship in Glasgow in March 1976. She was built by the Doxford yard in Sunderland in 1958 as HARPALYCE for J&C; Harrison.
In 1967 she was lengthened and in 1972 she was sold and renamed PATAGONIA then EFCHARIS. As INTRA TROPHY she was broken up on the Alang Beaches in May 1983.

Spent 9 months on this lovely old ship in 1971, circumnavigated the earth on her. She used to break down dead on 1000 hrs just in time for smoko...

I spent 8 months on her 1970 to 71 as navigating cadet circumnavigating the planet. She broke down 53 times so was glad I was not an engineer! A great experience though. Joined the RAF after that voyage!
