Incidentally, this is my first vessel, when I joined Grimaldi (through v.ships) as a Chief Engineer on board. Thereafter I have sailed on Grande San Paolo, Grande Amburgo and again on Grande Nigeria. Grande Nigeria is one of the best vessels, I have ever sailed on.

I was captain for long time on grande nigeria, with the ch. eng. Vikram Mayeka, I can confirm the g.n. as one of best but s.times unlucky vessel. I got fire on this vessel and we could estinguish the fire with thwe CO2 with the highly professional help of said exellent chief. It was one of my last vessel, I'm 73 and I would like join this vessel again.Nostalgia...
