One of two ro-ro vessels built to transport heavy loads round the British coast equipping new power stations she was completed in 1966 by the Ailsa yard at Troon for James Fisher of Barrow.
This was taken in Glasgow in 1975 as she took on one of these loads.

Going through my slides I find that this is in fact KINGSNORTH FISHER built by Hall Russell at Aberdeen in 1966, renamed NEW GENERATION in 1990 and as NEW GEN (!) scrapped at Alang in December 2001.
