US Navy submarine depot ship in Holy Loch off the Firth of Clyde suitably dressed for Independence Day, 4th July 1976.
She was built by Ingalls at Pascagoula in 1963 and was a major part of the US fleet attending to submarines and one of the vessels based in Scotland which changed periodically.
All this has gone with the advent of Trident and HOLLAND went into reserve in approximately 2000.
