HYATT

Chilean Navy Oberon Class submarine taken at Greenock in October 1976 whilst on final commissioning trials from her builders, Scott-Lithgow (Scotts'). She was originally to have been CONDELL but that name was transferred to a Leander class frigate building at Yarrow's yard at Scotstoun.
Because of the political situation in Chile at the time all the newbuilds were impounded but eventually delivered.
