Cromarty RoseThe Cromarty Rose was built in 1987 in Ardrossan, Scotland for Seaboard Marine (Nigg) Ltd who operated the Cromarty-Nigg service until 2001. After a tendering process, the contract passed to the Cromarty Ferry Company, who purchased the Cromarty Rose from her previous owners. The ferry runs every half hour between the end of May to the end of October, and carries 50 passengers and 2 cars.
The ferry leaves Cromarty on the hour and half-hour, and leaves Nigg at quarter to and quarter past the hour.
