Refer also picture #13240- this is CLAN ROSS fitting out under the big crane in the James Watt Dock at Greenock in December 1965. She was the last of the four which were built in alphabetical order- RAMSAY, RANALD, ROBERTSON and ROSS.
This area has changed out of all recognition now. The crane is still there as a reminder of past glories but the surrounding quayside area is now luxury flats.
