USS Helena CA 75, Baltimore Class Heavy Cruiser built Quincy, Mass., 1945. Displacement 13,600 tons standard / 17,200 full load. Length 673.5 ft; beam 71 ft; draught 26 ft. Machinery: 8 B&W; boilers; geared turbines 120,000 SHP speed 34 knots. Armament: 9X 8inch; 12X 5 inch; 20X 3 inch. Decommissioned 1963 and sold for scrap 1974. Helena one of 14 ships in this class. Crew 1,635 to 1,730.
