During 1982 the virtually new Ropner bulk carrier SALMONPOOL laid up on the Clyde. She was built by the Eleusis Yard in Greece.
She was activated later in the year and sailed until 1990 when she was converted to a self unloader and renamed YEOMAN BANK making some return visits to Glasgow as excellently caught in picture #14979
and picture #14980
with aggregate from the large Glensanda Quarry on Scotland's West Coast.
