Bringing back some memories when I saw France in Le Havre in 1976, was at that time moored besides an oil refinery, and waiting for a buyer, it was a sad sight.
Later in 1979 France left Le Havre and the French were crying.
When Captain Petre (France's Captain for years) was asked if he feels sad about the departure, he replied "in a way yes, however I prefer to see France sail again, even with another name; rather that to see her rotten in Le Havre!"
