From the vesseltracker web site on 2 October 2010:
"The "Stena Trader" will be completely rebuilt at Lloyd Yard Bremerhave for its new service between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. The vessel will be shortened by 12 metres and the passenger capacity increased from 300 to 1000. Also a new bow port and stern ramp and hanging decks for vehicle transport will be mounted. The rebuilding is comparable to a new building. The ship is expected at the yard on Oct 1, 2010. Marine Atlantic has chartered the vessel from Stena Line for five years and will be renamed "Blue Puttees". The "Stena Traveller" will follow up soon and enter service as "Highlanders" after having been rebuilt in a similar way."
