LYME BAY L3007New RFA heading under Erskine Bridge on the Clyde in July 2006 under tow from the Tyne for completion by BAe Systems in Glasgow.
She was built by Swan Hunter but because of severe delays was brought to the Clyde to be finished where two sisters MOUNTS and CARDIGAN BAYS had already been built. This effectively ended shipbuilding on Tyneside.
LARGS BAY was successfully completed earlier by Swan Hunter.
