The largest passenger ship to be completed on the Clyde since QE2 was Nort Sea Ferries' NORSEA completed by Govan Shipbuilders in 1987 for the Hull to Rotterdam service.
This shot was taken in April 1987 when she was undergoing preliminary trials. Her sister was NORSUN, Japanese built.
Replaced by larger ferries, NORSEA was renamed PRIDE OF YORK and now operates the Hull- Zeebrugge service.
