HMS TARTAR F 133

This is a slide taken by the late Sid Belham between 1969- 71 at Devonport of HMS Tartar F 133. Sid was Bedford Secretary of the World Ship Society.


Editor: the HMS Tartar (F 133) was a Tribal-class frigate of the Royal Navy built at Devonport Dockyard. She was commissioned in 1962 and served until 1984 when she was decommissioned and sold to Indonesia.

She accompanied the Brittania, on the Queens visit to Holyhead in 1977? I have a long distance photo of her somewhere.
