A real ship! ex vistafjord, built swan hunter uk in 1973. Gross 24.292, dwt 5954, loa 191.09 mtr, beam 25.00 mtr. Sailed 1973-1980 for norske amerika linje (oslo). 1980 sold to norw. american cruiseline, 1983 sold to cunard line (nassau), 1999 renamed caronia and registered southampton, uk flag. 2004 sold to saga shipping co.(nassau) and renamed saga ruby, after upgrading in malta.

A real ship indeed, in Rosyth at the moment still looking fabulous. worked onboard in 1978 when it was Vistafjord, for Norwegian America Line. Still love to see her sleek lines, recognise her miles off anyday.

The dark coloured hulls are really fantastic looking indeed, she wouldn't look the same in white. She was a great loking vessel under the Cunard flag

Saw her just yesterday (8th April 2008) on the Guernsey webcam - such a classic line, I couldn't mistake her.
