Sponsors of Ships and Harbours Photos
Introduction
The Ships and Harbours Image Library contains many photos for and by Merchant and Navy ships enthusiasts. There are 7762 pictures and many comments on the site for you to browse through.
There are many ways of browsing the images of sea going vessels on this site: you can view the latest pictures or the latest comments or quick start uploading your own photos. And note the thumbnails on the right, they will show you either the most favourite, the latest pictures or other relevant vessels!
And you can use the menu at the top that allows you to 'drill down' and browse by album (cruise ship, tankers and so on), manufacturer, country, year, specific group and even by contributor. You can try the simple search facility at the top right. Tip: Use the Additions option in the topmenu to see all the changes since your last visit or to see all the photos and comments of the last couple of days!
When viewing pictures of ships you can leave your own comments using the form at the foot of each page (do add your name otherwise it won't be published). In this way we hope to build up an extensive collection of information, reminiscences and anecdotes. There are 2375 comments on the site at present. Please note that only posts in English can be accepted.
You are also able to make your own album of the images (your favourites of the photos on the site) and make this publicly available if you wish. Use the My Album link at the bottom. To have a look at other visitors' albums click on the Visitors option at the top menu.
We love to see your photos of ships on this site. To add your pictures you can use the 'upload a picture' at the top of the page. If you have any suggestions please email them to info@shipsandharbours.com. Let us know what you think of the site!
